GHS Education & Advocacy programs are implemented to strengthen the communities where we identify a need. Our programs are designed to educate families, clinicians, and government officials about treatments, medications and life-saving technologies that are available to persons with chronic disorders. Experts in various fields facilitate interactive programs to instill knowledge and foster understanding about ways to manage bleeding disorders. Through Education we are able to advocate and teach Advocacy to associations, organizations, and people with chronic diseases.

GHS MEDICAL SYMPOSIUM
GHS Medical Symposium is a one-day program implemented by internationally renowned clinicians specializing in the field of hemophilia, von Willebrand’s disease, and other coagulation disorders. This program is offered to physicians, nurses, physical therapists, psychosocial providers, and other clinicians and technicians dedicated to the treatment or diagnosis of coagulation disorders in developing countries where our camps and programs are available.

GHS EDUCATIONAL SYMPOSIUM
GHS Educational Symposium is a one-day program developed especially for parents, family members, friends, and persons with hemophilia, von Willebrand’s disease, and other coagulation disorders. This program offers a wide range of education, information and support. It is through knowledge that we are empowered, and this philosophy is evident in this symposium which gives information about overall medical care, prevention of joint disease, medications for treatment, physical therapy, and psychosocial support.

GHS GOVERNMENTAL ADVOCACY
GHS Governmental Advocacy is a collaborative program. GHS works in conjunction with clinics, organizations, associations, families, and community groups to effect change and increase funding for diagnosis, treatment, and medications for persons with chronic disorders such as hemophilia and von Willebrand’s Disease and other coagulation deficiencies. Collaborative support within the host country is vital for this program to be a success.
